PEX pole-shift triage

Procedure for diagnosing post-layout pole shifts after PEX netlist extraction.

  1. Diff pre-layout vs post-PEX AC response.
  2. Identify the shifted pole; correlate to added layout parasitics (routing, via resistance).
  3. Confirm with a reduced parasitic netlist.
